How Good are you in Mediation?
BIAC is delighted to inform you that Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC), the country’s first and only Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) institution is hosting the first ever Mediation Competition in the country, which will take place on 20th, 27th March, 3rd April and 10th April 2021 jointly with London College of Legal Studies (LCLS) South, the Affiliate Centre of the University of London, UK.
The focus of the Competition is to effectively combine the use of mediation and collaborative problem-solving skills to successfully present the parties’ interests and progress towards the resolution of commercial disputes. We hope that the Competition will encourage teaching and learning of effective use of mediation and empower tomorrow’s business people and legal practitioners to better meet the dispute resolution needs of an increasingly cross-cultural and global competitive market.
